Welcome

Hi there, please allow me to introduce myself; My name is Chardon, but you can call me Diva!  I am a loyal, funny, beautiful, intelligent, kind, loving wife, daughter and friend.  I am a bit of a socialite and one of the best event planners in the industry!  I love fashion and I am very into designer clothes, shoes, bags, etc, but I'm also a sports fanatic!  I love FOOTBALL, basketball and enjoy a nice game of  golf every now and again.  I have earned the name Diva and wear the title proudly.  I am very passionate about my friends and my family and  I have been happily married to my soul mate for going on 2 years now!  We met many moons ago and have been together for almost 10 years, yes a full decade!  His name is Tony and I'm so grateful that I get to spend the rest of my life with my best friend!.  We have 2 children (animals) together, 1 year old Pitbull named Justice and a 5 year old Minpin named Chanel.  These two are the loves of our lives and soon we will be adding another addition (or two) to our cute little family!  We aren't pregnant yet, but we sure are having lots of fun practicing! :)  We are hoping for a fall pregnancy, so stay tuned for future entries on that topic. Moving right along....

Some months ago, a friend told me, “You need to start a blog.”  I did not think much about it.  I thought, “I don’t have time. Besides, what will I write?”  Well.  Talk about turn that statement on its head.

For the past couple of months I have been writing numerous entries in my private journal on different events that have either already taken place or that I am planning on in the near future.  Anyone that knows me or my husband, knows that there is never a dull moment in the "Maxwell" household and so I'm thinking the these unedited, sometimes emotional, often times hilarious moments need to be documented and shared with others. Hence the reason I have decided to use a public forum, such as this to record my writings.

The decision to begin my blog was in part inspired by my friend Brittany Chenault.  She writes on her blog as little or as often as a particular occasion warrants.  I did not want to be trapped into having to post a certain number of pieces in a given timeline, and in my blog naiveté,  thought I must keep to a schedule.  Brittany's entries are so informative, yet she keeps to no schedule.  Thanks, Britt, for providing your unintentional yet valued example of blogger freedom to me.

So, here I am, making my as-of-yet unacknowledged entry to the blogger universe.

Get ready for a emotional, hilarious, sometimes chaotic journey; called my life.  I'm looking forward to sharing my journeys and in my on way maybe even inspire a couple people as well!!

Diva says; Have a wonderful day all!  Smooches...
